With a great cast, and heart warming songs, this show is not to be missed.
Set in a hospital ward in London, you will meet Sister Elizabeth, regulars, Gerald and Marge, The beautiful Trippettes, sexy Dr Ishmael (enough to get your pulse racing), health inspector Roberta Mcneil and an arrogant opera singer, Trystan.
A musical for all ages that is funny, and heart warming. You will leave the theatre with a spring in your step!
The idea for the show first came about after hearing anecdotes from a lady who worked in a hospital in London. The setting seemed an ideal place in which to bring together people from all walks of life; it also came from the search to find a creative path that could combine use of interesting characters and dialogue with songs.
The sentiment behind the show is one in which prejudices are broken down and people meet each other for who they are, not what they represent, or how they might seem from the way they speak.
The story of the show demonstrates how love for Music and Poetry can bring people together.
The hospital setting is also poignant as that is one of the only places where birth and death happen under the same roof.
